Today was one of the days with the lectures. First lecture was by ms mok even it was a 45mins lecture but it contained alot of truth in it. First time is that from what i understand, is 3E1 conplacent? Complacent as in the fact that we think that we are very smart but the fact is that we are not. So what if we can top for science, maths, english or any other subjects or brag to other class how well we do. There would always be a taller mountain behind a mountain.
Being humble is another part that is important in life as it seems. Our teachers mention that the ones that do well are those that are humble.
Title as in the form of being in 3E1 doesnt mean that we are the smartest in our level. As long as we are willing to do well and have to will and to put in the effort, we would be respected. But after reflecting on this, not only are we not being respectful to our teachers but also to ourselves.
Another point that is really true is that are we really putting the effort of studying and doing well or is it just another case of complacent. Another saying said by ms mok was ''No pain, no gain.'' This saying has been said many times but did we ever understood the true meaning of it? We may be scoring B3, B4 or even A1 for our subject but when GCE "O'' level comes, can we really maintain that kind of standard?
I know that the fact that our 3 teachers are concern that we wont be able the stress and pressure for next year. But the thing is are we willing to put in the effort. Ms mok said that if we put in little effort, we will have little gain which is a fact.
Another point is that so what if we start being hardworking at this stage of time but do we have the will but not by what our teachers want us to get good results. An example was given out. If your teacher ask you to do your homework, you are doing it as your teacher told you to but not as it is good for our sake.
Attentive is also another thing. Our school hours are long which i find but we do have to pay attention not for our teacher sake but for ours. We maybe have to stay till 3.10 or even longer due to ccas. But if we cant jungle all of these things, is there a problem with our time management? Time management help us to make the best use of our time but the results of our tests shows that we are not doing well with it. Basically i feel that time management does play a big part in our aim to do well.
Is it time for those not so hardworking ones to put in effort and the will to do and revise our work and also the time for those hardworking ones to do it for their own sake?
A few lessons can be learnt from this which are complacenty, being humble, we think we are smart, no pain no gain, willingness and of course attentive and for our own sake. I'm sure that most people in the class probably got our teachers message to us.

This week has been rather a enlightening and full of troubles. Enlightening is in the front part i mentioned. But troubles i wont be mentioning it. Hope tomorrow and friday would be a much better day.
But i find that is it worth the trouble arguing over such matters and involving parents and teachers. Cant they just ask each other in what they misunderstood in each other. 3 years as classmates but still such things have to happen.
I'm not sure whether people would agree with me that it is not worth the trouble and time over it. Friendships could be broken through this even though u would find others that would support you. Overall i would be having a neutral stand. Small matter made it big.
