Monday, O level results was released.

Though to others it might have sux, for me is better than what I have expected compared to the prelim results I got.
As usual, Gauwei sure will top the school and it really came true.
Just qualified for JC but I decided not to go JC liao unlike what I told to people that I wanted to go JC.
After get results, talked to some of my classmates whom I probably wont be seeing them ever again.
Went meet up with Jacky then went find Keven who is in Monfort.
His school just move nearby tempo for a few years?
We went compass to meet with Buanheng and tirta.
Went pizzahut to celebrate results.
Then whole week was thinking of what course to do.
Friday, was my god mei Lizi birthday.
Same day as of my first blog post.
LOL.
Went Bball with jingze navan and wei.
Yesterday was service only.
This long holiday damn boring.

Hopefully I will get into something that I want.

Yesterday was the cell's Thanksgiving Gathering held at TP Level 5 Room 6.
It was the usual room that we used for our preparation of the mission trip to Myanmar last year.
The email told us to be there at 10.45 sharp.
Somehow, due to testing out a different bus route to TP, I was there 45mins earlier.
Walking in was easy.
The student leaders that was to bring the visitors around was standing around the overhead bridge.
Not sure whether I look like a student from TP but I was not approached.
I think the year 3 students had classes yesterday as a lot of them were coming out of the lecture theater.
Waited for UCL outside his office.
He came then bring the plates etc to somewhere.
Soon Joan and Charisse came then went buy drinks.
Then Samuel and Bio came.
Sit there just talked.
Took some pictures then rest of cell came and had pizza for lunch.
The programme started around 12.30.
Photos of mission trip.
At 1pm, due to Jon, Carmen and Jolene leaving.
AP showed us old photos from sunday school.
Whole day was showing old photos of some which I cant remember it actually happened.
One of them which I was in was a trip to the esplanade, didnt remember that.
Another was a trip to west coast for Christmas.
That I remembered.
While looking at the photos, had ice cream cake.
Took turns to share our own personal testimony about the recent Myanmar mission trip.
And here's mine.

Before the Mission trip

I did not really expect much from the mission trip, thought of it as a normal trip except for the living conditions there. I felt that I had been well prepared for the trip in learning the language by going through it every fortnight and trying to do the teddy bear balloon during my free time.

During the Mission Trip

Living conditions at Yangon was much better than I thought it was, so was it just came to mind that at Pathein it will not be that bad. During bus ride to Pathein, at some parts of the road, I saw women are the ones to repair the road with rocks. When I saw this, I had expected the people repairing the roads to be men. It looked very pitiful of them to be carrying rocks to repair the road under the hot sun for days.

At Pathein, the children at the orphanage gave me warmth, joyous and close feeling. Though it is the first time meet and seeing them, the way the children communicate with me while doing the activities makes me feel like it is not the first time knowing them. One thing that certainly surprised me was how much they would go for to thank a person and show their gratitude.

After the Mission Trip

One thing I missed is the warm and joy I had experienced there at Pathein. On looking back on the mission trip during the telematch, something I should learn from Marcus is to be as energetic as him for the children during telematch.

I learn that going for a mission trip to serve God’s people is commitment to the Lord, sharing God’s blessings on me with others and is like a test of faith in God.

Romans 12: 11 - 13
Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practise hospitality.


After all the sharing of photos and testimonies.
Was like 5.30.
Went for an early dinner with Edmund, Marcus, Samuel, JianZhong at TP business canteen.
Marcus went home first while the rest of us was trying to decide to go for service or go home.
Stood at the overhead bridge there talking about for like 20mins.
In end, decided go to JianZhong house.
Bused there to j8 while talking about the cell's present and future, about mission trips, past events and about AP and UCL.
Decided not to go jianzhong house so just stayed at j8 to talk.
Left J8 at 8 then went home.

Today is first day of all polys open house.
Arranged to meet jeni, wei and navan at 1pm at AMK Cheers but seriously there is 3 outlets there.
In end we all down there, waiting for each other at different outlets.
Met at the underpass the Cheers.
In end they not hungry so left to go NP.
Walked around NP.
Went to the convention centre first.
On my mind, was hoping not to see anyone I know.
Confirm will be like shocked.
When going out of the convention centre, really saw someone I know and is Tina.
Really small singapore.
Haha.
Went to see the School of business as wei interested in some course there while jeni interested in ACC.
Look awhile inside then went out.
Go to other schools eg Health Science.
On way to School of media, met another 2 friends, Carmen Chan and Jolene.
Ok Singapore really cramp la.
Then gauwei come when we wanted leave NP.
Walked to bus stop, met another friend, Carmen lim.
Sian liao la.
Yl and angel called say they there.
In end we didnt leave NP, just walked around there let them see their course they interested.
5+ Gauwei, navan, wei and me went play pool.
Play score was me and wei : Gauwei and Navan, 3 : 1
The 1 they win cause I accidentally hit black ball in.
When leaving, realised Jacky and his friends there.
Jacky said I training pool secretly today as I went with him pool yesterday.
Dinner then back home.
Tomorrow going TP then to church and yes, Sat is yet again TP then to church.
Sounds like a total repeat of life.
Haha.
Anyway both days the plans are different.
Sat plans more looking forward.
Results are on Monday, not really stressed out or nervous about it yet.
Is either I am weird or no feeling.
Haha.
Tired.
Probably going sleep soon.

1st post of the year 2010.
I have only one thing to say about church today and it is SWEEEEEET!
Met up with the cell (Excluding AP and UCL) at 302 to prepare for video taking!!!
We used paper plates to write on them 'THANK YOU! =)' and on the other side of it smiley faces.
The interview was like stun for words.
Didn't really know what to say about UCL only know what to say about AP.
We did quite a few NGs.
Then the cell did a song for them.
It will certainly surprise them on graduation day.
Ate lunch at 5pm.
Those who went for ONE Camp went meet their groups.
Rest of us slack in our OLD CELL ROOM.
One thing I realise is that without any cell, it is so boring.
Sadly, time cannot be written over and over again.
At least I know that WHF will always exist.
Service started off with the cheers of the tribal groups in the ONE Camp.
Sermon was excellent! Senior Pastor Derek preach on 2 Cor 5: 16 -21.
Really can learn points from those verses.
Worship was HYPER!
Next week also will be.
Kind of cool.
Anyway was asked a question regarding becoming a leader.
I think if I'm asked again, I will definitely say yes.
As I have learn that at that time where I think is impossible is wrong.
There is always a next time. Haha.
Growing to love church more and more, this is so cool.

2 Jan, time to abandon the things of 2009 and strive forward for God in 2010!!!
