Hey, I am back.
From COOS Treasure hunt Camp!!! Yeah!!!
This camp has been a great blessing.
Just so happen the motto for this camp is Blessed to be a blessing from Genesis 12:2.
There was also like a theme song for the Camp.
Song at right side column.

This COOS Youth Camp was nothing I had expected it to be.
First of all, this camp I went as I was not able to go for the cell mission trip to Vietnam.
So I went this Youth Camp with some cell friends.
However, we were all separated into different groups.


Day 1, Sunday 28 December.
Father send me to Church as I had to go there for the attendance for camp.
Went to Church, looking for familiar faces which of course would be my cell group friends.
Could not find my group Isabela.
There was ten groups.
Republic, Edinburgh, Nakhimov, Isabela, Laconia, Geldermalsen, Niagara, San Jose, Whydah and Margarita.
When finally found, like I did not know anyone from the group.
At first people at there church from my group was Faith, Jemina, Elton, Joscelyn, Xue En and lastly Veronica.
When Xue En introduced us to one another, everyone like didn't really know what to say.
When Xue En introduced herself, I thought her name was familiar and that she also said that she had one cell member also from Serangoon Garden Secondary.
Thought of something at first but was not able to confirm it so didn't bother.
Had ice breakers in the bus for our group Isabela only.
First game was like a Alphabet game.
Using the Alphabet to form a sentence starting from the Alphabet.
It didn't even need to make sense.
Second game we played was using suppose to use M&Ms but we used jelly beans to play.
Different colour of the jelly bean represent different questions.
For example, one place that you would like to go.
After playing that, we went on to hear different ghost stories from the older leaders.
Reached the place, went into meeting point.
Had some briefing and icebreakers.
Like some was like challenging another group who can remember the names.
Another was hopping while playing scissors paper stone against one another.
Went on do Isabela's treasure box.
Our idea was a monster.
Helped with the colouring of the box.
Byran was doing the monster claws and tail.
Jemina was doing the spikes on the back as well as helping to colour the box.
Joscelyn was doing the hair.
Xue En doing the eyes.
Veronica was doing most of the pasting.
While doing, i saw someone familiar.
I thought I see wrong.
It was Amanda ( Uncle Collin's daughter).
She helped with the other parts of the treasure box.
All help came up with the first cheer.
Goes like I say Isa you say bela.
I say bela you say Isa.
Forgot how it does.



The treasure box!!!
After doing the box, had a small break before having dinner.
Food was ok ok.
Then was session 1.
Had praise and worship before the word.
Learn about 3 things.
Found in Genesis 3:9, 1:25-26, 6:9 and Ephesians 5:31-32.
We are created to represent God, dominance and for relationships.
After the session, went to shower.
Light out at 11pm.
Only managed to sleep at 12.30am.

Day 2, Monday 29 December.
Woke up at like between 6 - 6.30am.
Cannot sleep.
Too noisy.
Went to toilet, it was filled with bees.
One leader was stung on the sole by the bee.
7.30 went for devotions.
Had exercise before devotion.
It was about honouring God.
The video was taken from Facing The Giants.
All I know about the movie is that a coach was asking his American football team to learn how to honour God through their matches.
After that had breakfast.
Xue En and a couple of leaders bake cookies for us to eat.
Quite nice.
Had Session 2.
It was Blessing for Obedience.
Deu 28 (almost the whole of it)

After session 2, had lunch.
During the session 2, Ren Hui and Ian came.
Our last 2 members have finally come.
Lunch was so so.
Talked about the act we were going to do the next day.
Many different ideas from Bryan and Amanda.
Had our spiritual SPA next.
The spiritual SPA was made up of 5 different parts.
All the groups first "soaked" in the presence of God for 30mins.
The "soaking" was for us to relax and try to listen and hear God.
Our group continued for another 30mins while the others groups went to the other 4 stations.
After our other second 30mins were up, we went to the pictures station.
Pictures station was for us to choose 2 pictures.
One for yourself while another one for you to write for your friend.
I wrote for my cell member Gerald.
Next station for us was the anoting (dunno how spell).
A few pastors came to do that.
Pastor Peter, Pastor Debbie, Pastor Victor, Pastor Jennifer and two other helpers.
Pastor Victor prayed for me.
He said I would be a man of peace and said other things.
He also gave me a verse from John 4:26 - 27.

"But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you." v.26
"Peace I leave with you;my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." v.27

After the prayer, I thought about it.
It will be true.
Our next station was Prophetic Art.
Mine was done by Samuel.

It was a picture of a shiny golden temple.
With it was a verse.
"If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple.'' 1 Corinthians 3:17.
After the Prophetic Art, was the gift station.
I got myself one verse.
"You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in you." Isaiah 26:3.
One verse for Edmund (Cell Friend).
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord; not for men; since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." Colossians 3:23-24.
And a star with a verse.
" He determines the number of stars and calls them each by name.: Psalm 147:4
After everything, we had our discussion about the act for the next day.
Most of the plan was quite done.
Had dinner and then was session 3.
It was on The Parable of The Talent.

3. We must invest what we're been given. v.16

Views of God - First two determined to make profit; Third determined to not take a loss.
- First two willing to work hard and take risks; Third took no risks.
- First two received gift; Third refused gift.
- First two wanted to advance the master's domain; Third had no interest in the matter to the master.
- First two viewed it as an opportunity; Third guy saw it as a problem.
- First two allowed the master's gift change their lives; Third refuse to let it touch his life.
- First two invest; Third wasted.
- First two saw blessing; Third saw a burden.
- First two knew the master; Third had no clue.

Our assistant leader, Ian, went home to rest since he was still a bit sick.
Showered and went to sleep at 2am.

Day 3, Tuesday 30 December
OMG!
It is Marcus and Yushi Birthday.
Yeah Happy Birthday.
Me already said to them but no harm typing it again.
It is finally the games day!!!
All the shouting and screaming would begin soon.
Had devotion as usual.
Learn again from Facing the Giants.
Just that a coach challenging his student and showing his student what his true potential is.
Breakfast like at 9.30am.
And soon the games part 1 began.
Isabela started off the with COOS Squares.
It involved tic tac toe and memory verses.

Quite interesting.
Our second game was maze that we had to find pebbles inside.
All I can say it was freaking dark inside.
No lights.
Like blind.
They suggested pairing the people that have similar height.
I was paired with Jemina.
We were the first pair in our team to go in against Edmund and Sierra team.
Just so happen Sierra was the first pair in their team also.
Talking about luck.
Haha.
Went 4 went in.
All the 4 of us went in holding each others hand.
Too dark liao.
We didn't care about team.
Friends help one another. ^^
All came in and out together.
That's call teamwork.

Third game was using the spoons to pass the ping pong balls.
Make me go first -.-''
Next game was twister.





I was like the main slacker for that game.
My number had the easiest task.
Last game for part 1 I forgotten what it was. Zzz.



Lunch!!!
Then was games again.
First game was the game during Racial Harmony have.
The one Zhe Ming was in charge.
That game our group from then onwards cmi but never mind.
As long as we have out group motto, we will work towards it.
After that game was some kind of trail thing.
Again must pair and is same height.
Jemina didn't really want to do not scare of me but coz of the tomato.
Need place the tomato starting in between the arms then by the back followed by cheek and lastly forehead.
By the time it was our turn, it was like all the seeds and the juice spilling out.
However we still managed to do it.
Next game was the diapers game.
All I can say was OMG.
You have to wear the diaper on your head.
And you would have to run to the bucket of water and let the diaper absorb the water and back to release the water.
Once the line-ing was torn, cant get new diaper need share.



Game quite joker but at least it was fun.
Next was Tic Tac Toe running edition.
We won. ^^
And onward to our final game.
The most downright dirty game that involved flour, mustard, mud and vinegar.
You have to belly crawl over the first mat that had mud and a lot of vinegar which was always keep pouring.
The second mat contained the mustard and flour.
Until shirts and pants dirty.
Went to nearby toilet wash everything off.
Next was the ultimate game.
Water bombs!!!
Camp corr and pastors versus campers!!!
So much fun.
After so much of fun, went to shower and change to camp shirt.
Came out of shower and was told that our secret item for the act was a golden banana.
We at first had no idea what to use it for.
Thanks to whole group, we managed to thought of one.
Dinner was fantastic.
Followed by all the acts.

All were funny.
There was even a chinese act of the Facing The Giants the video we watch that morning.
After all the acts, we had COOS very own Don't Forget The Lyrics.
Fun but too bad it didn't last long.
11.30 all returned to bunks.
Primary 6 and Secondary 1 went to sleep at 12.30am.
While the older ones we wake till between 2.30 and 3.30 am.

Day 4, Wednesday 31 December (LAST DAY OF 2008!!!)
Woke up at 7.45am.
Went to room at 9am.
Had breakfast.
Then had a small icebreaker called the Haha game.
1 by 1 head must lie on another person stomach.
Then all start haha.
One by one.
Hard until bored.
Had testaments and affirmation to one another.
Last till 12.30am.
Went back to COOS building.
Ate lunch with cell friends.
Took cab home.
Rest.
And took a long time blogging.
Listening to 2008 Top 100 songs.
Read the affirmation by each and everyone of you in the group.
Yeah and want to thank you for those encouraging and affirming messages.

@Ren Hui: That's what teammates are for right? Helping and encouraging one another.
@Amanda Joy: Now we have know the different sides of one another. LOL.
@Xue En: Just always remember what Veronica said always give 101% for God and not for yourself and being funny is to lighten to mood around us. Thank you for the versus from Colossians 3:23 - 24. I think since I have picked that versus at the gift station and given it to my friend and now that you have given to me, perhaps God is trying to tell me something in the versus. ^^
@Bryan: Yeah, same to you and continue to being such a creative person for the act.
Hope to see you guys at church and at Youth Service wearing Treasure-hunt Camp shirt this Saturday.

Yeah I want to say thanks to the group Isabela for giving me such a fun time during the camp.
Through we may no been first but we all are first as we have given 101% for God. I also want thank you all for the wonderful messages you have written about me. Indeed it was a good experience going for this camp, It was wonderful getting to know each one of you whether we have met at PEW or at friends house as I think without each and everyone in this group, it would not been that easy. Thank you all for being such a great company during the camp. Isabela FTW!!! May God bless each and everyone of you.

* Dear Lord, thank you for giving such a perfect weather during Treasure Hunt Camp, Transformers Camp and the campus side Camp. Thank you for giving me such a nice and friendly group that would non-stop encouraging one another and also able to allow everyone to bring smiles to everyone faces even though we were on the losing side. Thank lord for bringing the group close to one another and inspiring one another. I also want thank you for allowing the camp to go so smoothly without a slight disturbance. I pray Lord that everyone in Isabela would able to have gone home with talent that you have given to each and everyone of us during the spiritual SPA and that everyone would really enjoyed themselves during the camp as well as enjoy soaking themselves in your presense. I pray Lord that everyone would recover from the sore throat before school begins. In Jesus name, Amen.

Woke up 4am.
Tried to do the Pet Society hack.
For some reason cant sleep before that.
After do half hour, went sleep.
Woke up at 8.30am.
Went try the hack again.
Tried for 1hour before managed to get the coin hack successful.
Play around for awhile before doing exp hack.
Practically play Pet Society whole day.
After dinner, search a few pieces of music.
Some changed the titles of the music -.-''

Treasure Hunt Camp going to start soon.
28-31 December.
Not prepared for camp.
And have not started on homework.
Practically nothing much to blog on.

Bridge Making today was a complete FAILURE!!!

How U wished u were Hiro from Heroes to go back into the past.

Yesterday has been a long day.
Practically didn't use msn for whole day.
Woke up at 8.30 to audi with Yushi.
Who knows she came online at 9.00 then wanted re-download audi.
While she re-downloading audi, ask me go play maple with her.
Maple under patch.
Haha, serve you right "addict".
Talk on msn until 11.15
Her mother just come home from market and I had to go out liao.
Went offline and took bus to AMK Station.
Took train to Novena to meet with relatives for buffet lunch.
Guess what, they took the same train as us.
Walked to United Square where the restaurant was.
Buffet lunch was plenty siah.
They told us they would give customers complimentary drinks.
So when we heard this, thought drinks won't last.
So didn't bothered about that.
Went to get the food!!!
Got tempanyaki, sashimi, roasted duck, clams, shark fin soup and etc.
First thing of course is to chiong for shark fin soup.
Took one bowl of shark fin soup and chiong for the others.
The clam damn nice lor.
Eating half way, they gave us this herbal soup.
Inside got chicken and mushroom.
Just that you can't taste those.
Only just how much herbs inside the soup.
Ordered dory fish, some fish forget name and meat.
While waiting for it, went on eat other things.
Tried salads, the Japanese noodles, sashimi and others.
Eat until thought can't eat the food I had order.
Lucky can siah.
There was something very interesting that caught our attention during the buffet.
There is liquid juice called baby juice.
Not sure whether true anot but this was placed in a container that you would never imagine.
Of all places whether it would be small cups or bowls, it was filled in a test tube.
So it was like we were experimenting ourselves with this liquid.
After my cousins and I tried it, it was not bad.
Went on get more food.
And on the way back, just took the alcoholic drink.
Small small cup.
Suppose to be under 18 can't take but who cares.
Every round we went to take food, my cousin would sure bring back 1 or 2 cups of it.
And it sure was nice.
Ate cakes and some other food.
Then went back to the test tube and the alcoholic drink.
My aunty told me that the drink beside it was red wine.
Not sure whether good quality wine.
Of course didn't take that.
Too obvious liao.
After like 2hours of eating there, was told that the complimentary drinks could keep taking.
Damn sian after hearing that.
After lunch, walked around United Square and Velocity.
Walk walk walk.
Walk till Novena Station.
Took train to grandmother's place.
Played some games and ate dinner.
Reach home 11++
Watched TV at 12.
Until 1.
Facebook and Msn.
Started blogging at 2.

Time to go off.
3am liao.
Who won't want sleep.

Didnt go church.
So stayed at home.
Watching some old videos.
Boring day.
At night audition with Yushi, Huiyu and Xiang Shun.
Played couple dance for fun.
Huiyu and Xiang Shun so pro.
Get so many hearts.
Me and Yushi one or two only.
Haha.
Soon 12+
Yushi left.
So the 3 of us audition till 2am.

Sunday
Woke up 12noon siah.
Evening went to friend place.
To eat chilli crabs.



Eat until shuang.
Watched CSI until 11.30pm
Went home.
Played with facebook.

Today
Morning went to play audition with Sheng Yang and Xiang Shun.
First few rounds play legit.
Then soon all the Perfect hacks came out.
Sheng Yang hack close to 10m score.
Xiang Shun left to make passport.
I stop audition, watch Survive finale.
The Bob very lucky.
Win 1m then the bonus also he win.
Total he win 1.1m.
Rich guy now.
Went online audition again.
Saw Yushi and Huiyu online when their msn not on.
Turns out they at PC Bunk.
Rich siah.
Go such expensive place to play.
Rather use home computer.
Played audition with them
Soon they leave as it was getting late.
So I continue with story mode.
Make me gain 1 lvl and 89%.
Ate dinner.
Waited for people come online to play audition.
Yushi wanted play BUBP as got bug.
before she play, she dc, parents dont allow her play.
Lucky got enough people.
Mode really got bug.
I earn 49k siah.
Now blogging.
12am.
Tomorrow we playing BUBP.
Now watching Survive again.
Cant wait for next season.
Tomorrow last episode of Heroes volume 3.
Next year volume 4.
Maybe should ask Wei intro more English Dramas.

Life seems to be going downhill.
Things that you plan so hard for.
In turn it won't work out and cause you to be the scapegoat.
Is this worth it?
What for waste all this effort for something that you won't benefit from?
After everything turns out to be a total failure,
being blame is one thing but is being blamed for some other people actions called reasonable?
You try so hard to plan for everyone to enjoy.
And this is the result of it.
Seems like no one seem to really understand you.
Every thought is unable to be processed by anyone.
Yet when things end up in a change of course,
you didnt try to blame the person but chose to be upset at yourself.
Even telling others that it is nothing worth knowing.
Keeping all things to yourself.
No wonder no one seems to know the real you.
A false image being created for show.
Asked others to take over from you.
Only to find that no one wants to do it.
Who would ever thought of planning?
They just go by the flow.
Just face it.
You are different.
And by different I mean way different.
What's the point of trying when in the end,
you are treated like dirt.
You won't be even thanked.
Man would only do what would benefit them but not for others.
So why don't you just give all up and concentrate on more meaningful and hopeful things?
So things would work out while some won't.
While to some, it works out all the time.
Rather than facing regret and thinking of how to improve on things, look forward.
Life just seem to have ridges along it where ever you are.

Today is so tiring and fun.
Had our cell BBQ today.
Suppose to start at 3.30.
I reach there 4.30.
I took a longer route.
Sorry to make u all wait till 4.
When I reach the place, they were already at Bedok Reservoir Park.
First game was surerates (rough spelling)
Had to act in a group siah.
Many funny moments.
After surerates, was ultimate Frisbee.
Our group very cham.
Mostly girls and 3 guys while other team mostly guys.
We even had chance.
2 judges came help us but we still lose.
After that match, quite tired but fun to play.
Walked to the condo where Uncle Chun Ling stay.
Helped carry the food down to the pit and carry extra chairs and table to the pit.
After set-up, had one game from the TV show Whose line is it.
Lucky I not inside the sabo-ed group.
They had to sing a song for those new people not from our cell.
In end only 4 versus done.
Had another game call thumb.
Where a group of people have to guess the number of thumbs raised each round.
During trail run, everyone all didn't guess correct.
Only I guess correct.
Smart or what?
Next was Empire.
Theme was Bands/Singers.
I made it till top 3.
In end after I got guess, host stop game as it was time for BBQ!!!
There was ota, pizza, fried rice, bee hoon, salad, chicken wings and turkey.
Ate and had a little discussion with Edmund, Jon, Jian Zhong, Pastor Peter and his two friends.
About our cell the clique inside and how boring the game master in our cell has been.
All this will be kept among ourselves.
After BBQ, was carolling with candles.
Finish carolling was wine and cakes.
Didn't eat the cakes but had went to write the card for Aunty Pauline.
Had to use the candles for lighting.
The security guard go scold us for using the candle, thinking we vandalising the playground.
Soon the security guard leave.
Time for the youth in our cell group to plan how give the gifts to Aunty Pauline and Uncle Chun Ling.
Made Aunty Pauline hold Uncle Chun Ling gift while we hid Aunty Pauline gift.
In order for Uncle Chun Ling to get his gift, he had to sing a love song to Aunty Pauline until we (the audience) are happy.
Someone go suggest barney song: I love you, You love me that one.
With actions somemore.
After that Uncle Chun Ling had to guide Aunty Pauline (blind folded) to her gift while all the audience block them.
Took them 7mins siah causes we had to leave the pit at 10.
Packed up left at 10:45.
Took a direct bus to Bishan with Jian Zhong.
Reached around 11:15.
Took 55 back home.
Reach back before 12.
Lucky father not back yet.
Now using computer.
Going bath soon and sleep around 2am.
Now 1am plus.
Later still need go grandmother's place.
Long day siah.
Later will blog on Jenisha survey.

Saturday
Nice time makan-ing.
First day, went to Jalan Kayu to have roti prata for breakfast.
Meet Uncle Colin, Aunt Josephine, Thadeus (10) and Natalie (6).
Ate liao.
Drove to Tuas checkpoint.
Long queue siah.
Spend 1hr to pass both Singapore and Malaysia checkpoints.
After we pass it, drove to nearest petrol kiosk to wait for Uncle Colin's car.
Uncle Colin drove to the R&R.
LOL.

First break we were going to take was at Machap.
Drove all way there.
Reached there, saw Uncle Jeff's car.
So all drove to Melaka while Uncle Simon's car was driving down from genting.
So reached Melaka without Uncle Simon's car.
All of us went eat bakutai.
Nice siah.

After lunch, drove to hotel.
Was free period.
Walked around.
Went Burger King for tea.
Bought one set and brought back to hotel eat.
Reach hotel, checked bag.
Got one extra burger.
Gain siah. Lucky before we left, the person mixed up our order.
So supervisor did it.
The person work there for 2 days only.

Dinner, went at 6.
Dinner was zica.
Very worth it.
Before food came, most of us there went buy food and more food at the pasa malam.
So dinner didnt order alot.
Only order the specialities.
I think ordered around 8-10 specialities for 17 people.
Fish was good.

Supper at 10:30
Was wanton mee.

Sunday
Woke at 7.
At 9, went wat mee swa and oyster omelet.
Nice.
After that, wanted to walk to the nearby shops.
As that day was Sunday, all closed.

Some of us went back hotel.
Had a swim.
Freaking cold.
Showered and went for lunch.
Lunch was Nasi Lemak.
Got fried fish, sambal prawns, spicy vegetables, ikan belis and egg.
Quite little.
So after that, drove to the nearby food stall that we went the previous time.
Where that time we went to eat the Mee Siam.
Dessert was chedol, pai tee, laska and popiah.
After eating, drove to an alley that sold delicious noya gua.
Stall closed siah.
So went back hotel.

Dinner, went out at 6,30.
To eat Portuguese food.
Nothing really fantastic about it.
Seems more like Chinese food.

At night at hotel, watch Chelsea vs Arsenal.

This morning, went eat chicken rice balls for breakfast.
Last time also go before.
Went there, just so happen to meet my father's old friend from church.
Rice balls were nice.
Chicken okok.

Lunch at 12.
Since Uncle Jeff left earlier, ate at restaurant at hotel.
Checked out.
Went eat chedol, popiah and pai tee again.
Bought the noya gua.
Is freshly made.
Also bought some dumplings and noya dumplings to hide in luggages to bring to Singapore.

Slowly drove to JB for dinner.
Zica again.
CRABS AND PRAWNS!!!
FILLING.

Breeze through Malaysia checkpoint.
Singapore checkpoint was terrible.
One side closed.
All cars going to one side only.
Only 4 lanes for cars open and 2 for motorcycle.
Caused a huge jam at the bridge.
Haven half way on bridge jam liao.

Reached home 9pm.
Called someone who tricked me to call.
Boliao.
Cant blame people miss me and my voice.
Watched TV and unpacked.
Teacher called while overseas say tomorrow got cca.
Yushi tell me don't go.
NO reasons ZZZ.
But I will go anyway.

Tired. Hope to go ice skating soon with friends.
And lastly to meet up with primary school friends.
