Actually didn't want to blog today but as I just watched Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu, I think I should just blog about it since it is still fresh in my mind.
Well, this movie is from a manga.
It has many english titles,
I Give My First Love to You And this manga genre is romance, shojo and slice of life.
Weird right?
Me, reading and watching this type of manga and movie.
This story is about two people from young to young adults. Takuma and Mayu's story began when they were only 8 years old. During his childhood, Takuma was constantly hospitalised due to his heart condition. He soon became friends with Mayu, the daughter of the doctor in charge of his case. Day by day they grew closer and closer. However, the summer when Takuma was 8, he made a promise to Mayu that he couldn't keep... Their story unfolds as they grow older and their bond gets stronger...
I only have read the manga half way through but too bad, there is no more sub chapters of it.
So I just went to find the movie today.
I am not sure whether the ending of the movie follows the manga but earlier parts of the movie, it did not follow the manga.
All left is just to wait.
I like how the whole story unfolds and the ending music is really nice and meaningful.
Maybe if it is animated and its ost are done by Jun Maeda, it would really be the best anime for the year.
Yeah, from the summary of the story, it sounds like a tragic romance story.
Maybe that's what I like about it.
It is being realistic, portraying how these two characters grow, trying to overcome Takuma heart disease and the different struggles they have.
It is way different from other shojo mangas.
Anyway like I said, the music nice and meaningful, so here it is.
